#CountryKids – The Spotty One

We had such big plans for the Easter Weekend but Aly decided to catch Chickenpox and it totally wiped her out and she spend Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the sofa but on Sunday we actually managed to get her out in to the garden albeit for a short while but at least it was fresh air.

After a while she got into it and we ended up planting a few vegetables and a couple of small plants.

The dreaded pox! We haven’t had it yet here but it must be coming soon, all the bugs seem to be coming out for Spring. Glad that you managed to get out and plant some veggies. Lovely to find you on the Coombe Mill Country Kids linky x

Aaww, bless her. Glad she was feeling better and managed to get some gardening done 🙂 We’ve been exposed a few times to Chicken Pox but neither of my boys have contracted it yet, touch wood.

Hope she’s feeling much better now and was up for a spot of gardening. Be nice to see how the vegetable plot develops, good luck. Thanks again for linking to Country Kids.

Oh no! We narrowly avoided Chickenpox somehow, I think it was a miracle. Sorry it dashed your plans…the vegetable growing looks good though!

2 of mine had Chicken Pox over Easter! It’s obviously a new trend. Glad it didn’t spoil it for you (and wish mine had spent any time sat on the sofa – neither of them were tired out at all by it!).
