Panasonic KX-PRW120 Homephone – Review
When we had the big storms a few months back it managed to blow up our homephones so since then we’ve been using an old phone that wasn’t the best and the plan was to get some new ones for Chritsmas but then an opportunity came along and Panasonic asked if we fancied giving the Panasonic KX-PRW120 a review which of course we did.
Ok so to begin with the first impressions are that it’s a bit of a beauty which makes a change from the usual homephones we have had.
Now as you’d expect the phone does all the basic things you’d expect such as make calls, phonebook and an answering machine and also calendar and alarm clock but it also has a very very cool tricks up its sleeve. As you’ll see it is a single handset (up to 6 can be added) but this phone works over Wi-Fi too and if you download the app in either Google Play or Apple App store you can answer your homephone using your mobile. So if you’re upstairs and the homephone rings down stairs as long as it’s connected to the same WiFi network your mobile will also ring.
One of my favourite other features is the fact it tells you who’s calling just before the first ring which means you don’t have to get up and check who it is and can therefore just ignore the call.
This is the future of homephones, what will be the next item in the house to have wifi built in?
We were sent this Panasonic KR-PRW for the purpose of this review, all thoughts and opinions are our own
